Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician - Entry Level in Gardiner, ME. You’ll assist with building and facility maintenance projects, perform routine preventive maintenance, and support general repairs.

This role offers a 4-day work week (Mon-Thu, 10:00–8:30), competitive pay ($20–$25/hour based on experience), and on-the-spot interviews. No prior experience required; training provided to develop skills in painting, carpentry, and safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to be on-call and respond to maintenance requests.
• OSHA safety regulations adherence and compliant work practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily/monthly/quarterly preventive maintenance and safety checks.
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on equipment per processes and standards.
• Maintains and modifies facilities, buildings, and grounds according to schedule and emergency needs.
• Keeps maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe; secures equipment at end of shift.
• Responds to maintenance requests and supports facility operations.
