Quality Talent Group is seeking an ENTRY LEVEL Maintenance Technician to support mining and processing equipment on swing shift. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, addressing breakdowns, and following safety procedures at multiple sites across North America.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and basic mechanical skills, with experience in industrial environments. Training will cover PPE, equipment operation, and documentation responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding, light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
