Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle Infrastructure in Houston is seeking an entry‑level maintenance technician. You will assist technicians, learn to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently, perform preventative maintenance, follow diagrams and manuals, and help with Batch Plant operations when needed.

The role requires basic knowledge of diesel/gasoline engines, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and familiarity with hand tools and basic electrical/hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with diesel/gasoline engines and basic electrical/hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read basic machine blueprints and operate hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe working condition of facility equipment and grounds.
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections as scheduled.
• Repairs equipment, fixtures, and systems as needed.
• Supports Batch Plant operations as required.
