Job summary

Silverstone Living in Nashua, NH is seeking an entry level Maintenance Assistant to join the maintenance team. The role runs 7:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday with on-site responsibilities including painting, repairs, and general upkeep of apartments and common areas.

Ideal candidates will have basic mechanical/electrical knowledge, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. The position offers comprehensive benefits, holiday pay, and opportunities for education assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving record standards.
• Ability to read, speak and write English and follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic skills in painting, sheet rock repair and carpentry.
• Must be able to stand, walk, push with repetition and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting, sheet rock repair, carpentry and general maintenance tasks.
• Assist with apartment turnover and related maintenance duties.
• Report to Facilities Manager and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Support weekend maintenance coverage and assist with moving resident vehicles.
• Assist with snow removal and local deliveries using company vehicles.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in trainings.
