Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic math using whole numbers and decimals in imperial and metric.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Ability to meet productivity standards, observe safety and security procedures, and adapt to changes in the work environment.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn metal cutting machines (manual and CNC).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Fine motor, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate conventional and CNC machines to produce components per drawings and process documents.
• Perform milling, drilling, grinding, riveting and turning with close tolerances.
• Review specifications and tooling requirements to determine machining sequences.
• Change tools on simple drilling/reaming operations.
• Perform inspection and gauging to ensure parts meet requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthful work environment per OSHA and company standards.
• Record data and production values according to process requirements.
• Support lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete preventative maintenance as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
