Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in Newington, NH seeks an entry-level Machine Operator I to handle deburring, buffing, sanding and tumble operations, working independently or on a team.

You will also assist in finishing, engraving, Cerakote, Black Oxide, and MagCell tasks, and may perform minor assembly using small hand tools and laser engraving for non-serialized parts. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read work instructions in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
• General manufacturing exposure is acceptable for entry level.

Responsibilities

• Use gauging to confirm specified characteristics.
• Bead and sand blast.
• Operate manual and automated equipment under supervision.
• Engrave serial numbers and other markings as required.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S housekeeping.
• Work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
• Maintain punctual on-site attendance.
