Solstice Advanced Materials in Fombell, PA is hiring a Level 1 Machine Operator. This entry-level role provides extensive on-the-job training to develop skills for electro-refining titanium sponge into high-purity titanium crystal.

Initial tasks are performed under direct supervision, with progression as proficiency increases. The position supports rotating 12-hour shifts with overtime as needed, and opportunities to grow within the semiconductor-related manufacturing space.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment; helium leak testing and/or maintenance experience a plus.
• Forklift operation experience is valued.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety commitment required.
• Creative thinking and idea generation; ability to communicate information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Learn and demonstrate proficiency in refining department procedures.
• Work with Refining Technician Operators II–Lead until proficient to perform tasks independently.
• Understand and execute safety and emergency procedures.
• Support site safety programs for a safe work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow environmental, health and safety policies.
