Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in Springdale, AR seeks a Machine Operator I to set up and operate production equipment according to established procedures.

You will ensure the availability of materials, feed the machine safely and efficiently, and maintain a clean, orderly work area while recording production data. The role requires at least 6 months of manufacturing experience and basic math skills; a High School diploma/GED is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing and/or assembling.
• Working knowledge of basic math is preferred.
• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates and feeds the machine in a safe and efficient manner, and according to established procedures.
• Completes work area set up and stacks completed products as required.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment and reports problems during pre-shift checks.
• Maintains production records as required and ensures materials are available for operation.
• Participates in safety and quality procedures and other programs as assigned.
