Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator I for our Rochester, NH facility. This entry-level role handles deburring, buffing, sanding, and tumbling tasks, with potential work across finishing, engraving, Cerakote, Black Oxide, and MagCell processes.

Prior manufacturing experience is not required, but English instruction comprehension is essential. Responsibilities include light assembly, use of small hand tools, and laser engraving for non-serialized products, with regular on-site attendance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills.
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Entry-level position intended for individuals with limited manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform at least 3 of 5 tasks: assembly, tumble, bead blast and basic surface prep operations.
• Must convey ideas clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Use gauging to confirm proper characteristics.
• Participate in root cause analysis activities.
• Bead and sand blast.
• Operate automated and manual equipment, including lasers for engraving where required.
