Job summary

Masiello Employment Services is assisting a manufacturing client in Bellows Falls, VT to hire entry-level Manufacturing Machine Operators for a temp-to-hire role. The position is hands-on, fast-paced, and offers training, growth opportunities, and a path to skilled manufacturing work.

You will set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, perform basic changeovers, and conduct quality checks while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic hand-tool knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds in a manufacturing environment.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and team player.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, ISO, or 5S is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, operate, and monitor production equipment.
• Perform machine changeovers and basic troubleshooting as needed.
• Conduct quality inspections and verify product specifications.
• Complete production records and machine documentation accurately.
• Handle materials and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate equipment or tooling issues to support teams and assist with continuous improvement efforts.
