The Finishing Machine Operator (Folding gluer machine operator) is responsible for setting up and operating machines used in the post-print label finishing process. Experience is not required but is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently perform make-ready on assigned cartons.
• Set production speeds to maximize machine capabilities; inform team lead if additional help is needed.
• Ensure correct adhesives are used; report issues like fiber tear or glue voids.
• Inspect cartons during production to verify adhesion, alignment, and print quality.
• Monitor adhesive application for proper placement and quantity.
• Verify correct packing and labeling per job specifications.
• Assist in training and ensure quality, productivity, and waste minimization.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and timely.
• Follow safety policies, GMP, BRC standards, and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience with cutting operations preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret instructions and solve problems.
