Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Illinois is seeking an entry-level Lube and Tire Technician to support the shop by performing essential vehicle maintenance services, tire work, and inspections. You'll learn from experienced technicians and service leaders while building a solid foundation for a long-term automotive career.

Responsibilities include oil changes, tire services, basic maintenance, and completing Digital Vehicle Inspections.

Qualifications

• Reliable, safety-focused and mechanically inclined; willing to learn.
• Ability to follow procedures, safety standards, and store processes.
• Valid driver’s license and MVRC check.
• Able to work flexible schedule, including weekends.
• 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, air & cabin filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and documentation accurately.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings to the store team.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and assist with parts transport.
