Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) Knoxville is seeking an Entry-Level Lube Technician to join a friendly, team‑oriented environment. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and top‑tier customer service to help keep guests safe on the road, and you don’t need prior automotive experience to start.

Through our training program, you’ll learn to change oil, check fluids, rotate tires, test and replace batteries, inspect lights and wipers, and complete an 18‑point safety check.

Qualifications

• Willing to work weekends and days as needed.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and customer focus.
• Ability to read and understand training materials and procedures.
• English reading/writing/speaking fluency.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform an oil change and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Check and refill vehicle fluids and rotate tires.
• Test and replace batteries; inspect lights and wipers.
• Complete an 18-point safety check and related services.
• Provide top-tier customer service and support.
