Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is hiring an Entry-Level Lube Technician in Louisville, KY. You’ll join a friendly, team-oriented environment and perform basic maintenance tasks with thorough training, helping guests stay safe on the road.

No prior automotive experience is required as our award-winning training program teaches you to perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, battery tests, light/wiper inspections, and more with care and accuracy.

Qualifications

• From day one, you’ll get hands-on training and support to thrive as a Lube Technician.
• We seek team members with:
• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)
• An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer-focused team
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking

Responsibilities

• Change oil
• Check and refill fluids
• Rotate tires
• Test and replace batteries
• Inspect and replace lights and wipers
• Perform an 18-point maintenance check
• And other preventive maintenance services
