Demonstrated experience in vessel hold operations and advanced cargo handling. Completion of specialized training in PIT operation, cargo securing, and equipment use. Proficiency in operating forklifts, yard mules, chain saws, and chop saws. Strong understanding of cargo stowage principles and safety standards. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks in varied environmental conditions. Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Outdoor terminal and warehouse settings. Exposure to varying weather conditions, heavy machinery, and cargo handling equipment. Requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Working at heights, within enclosed spaces, in noisy environments with moving equipment, and in adverse climatic conditions. Informing the supervisor of damaged or unsafe cargo.
