Job summary

American Landscaping Partners is seeking an entry-level Plant Health Care Technician I, Lawn Care. You will learn and perform basic lawn care services under supervision, applying fertilizers, weed control products, and seasonal turf treatments on residential and commercial properties.

This role emphasizes turf health, safety, and customer service, with on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement within the Plant Health Care team. Prior lawn care experience is not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior lawn care experience required; training provided.
• Valid state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lawn Care Application: Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and other lawn care products safely and precisely, following all label instructions and safety protocols.
• Lawn Diagnosis & Customer Solutions: Assist in diagnosing and resolving basic lawn problems, including pest, weed, and nutrient issues; provide quotes and tailored recommendations.
• Customer Engagement & Sales: Pursue new customer contracts and encourage re-enrollment of existing customers.
• Recordkeeping & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of all product applications and service activities for billing and compliance.
• Equipment & Site Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, vehicles, and equipment; promote safety and environmental practices.
