Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC in Gardena, CA, is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance for industrial and commercial properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, operate commercial landscaping equipment safely, and assist with plant maintenance.

The role requires being at least 18, dependable, and able to handle equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers. Certification on Level 1 equipment is required, with a valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and dependable.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, trimmer).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf using various-sized power mowers and edging tools.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape or remove damaged branches.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks and landscape features.
• Report unsafe conditions to the Crew Leader.
