Entry Level Landscape Architect – Charlotte, NC
Responsibilities
- Perform zoning code research, site feasibility and due diligence studies.
- Assist with preparation of rezoning and conditional use plans.
- Prepare site construction plans including site design, grading design, storm drainage design, erosion and sediment control design, landscape plans, and associated details.
- Prepare associated calculations and reports.
- Prepare renders for presentations. Candidate must have excellent hand‑drawing skills and be familiar with digital technologies such as Adobe Photoshop. Experience with Rhino and D5 is a plus, but not required.
- Work on multidisciplinary design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
- May also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture is required.
- Previous internship experience is desired.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, GIS/ArcView, and PowerPoint.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
