Kelly Services in Sumner, WA is seeking a Production Technician I (Laminator) to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level role provides on-the-job training to produce composite components according to drawings and SWI, with supervision and opportunities to advance.

The position offers a pay rate of $24.48 per hour, day or afternoon shifts with overtime as needed, and a four-day work week with potential overtime on Fridays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing or production experience is an asset but not required.
• Ability to follow written instructions, drawings, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Able to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Lay up composite materials on mandrels according to manufacturing plans and SWI instructions.
• Wrap molds with composite materials in preparation for the curing process.
• Verify materials are correct and meet manufacturing specifications.
• Review manufacturing documentation for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Verify part identification tags and complete required documentation.
• Maintain production schedules and meet takt time requirements.
• Follow all quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies.
