Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace is seeking a Laminator I for the 2nd shift at our Sumner, Washington location. You will laminate composite components, verify materials and documentation, and ensure adherence to SWI and production schedules.

The role supports indoor manufacturing with exposure to typical plant conditions and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, medical and insurance benefits, a 401(k) with employer match, paid holidays, vacation time,

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand detailed instructions and follow demonstrated steps.
• Basic understanding of process specifications.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and SWI; wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts.
• Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; report discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
• Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan.
• Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed.
• Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.
