Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace in Sumner, WA is seeking a Laminator I for the 1st shift to laminate composite components per drawings and SWI. The role involves lay-up on mandrels, material verification, and sign-off on completed work. PPE and safety protocols apply in a fast-paced production environment.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with a 4:30 am–3:00 pm schedule, Monday through Thursday. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $22.25 to $26.25, plus comprehensive benefits and potential for growth.

Responsibilities

• Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and standard work instructions (SWI); wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts.
• Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
• Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan.
• Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed.
• Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.
