Key duties include maintaining accurate records, answering calls, and keeping the work area clean and ready for daily operations. A high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills are required.

Qualificações

• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers and ability to navigate web-based applications.

Responsabilidades

• Enter patient demographics and test orders into the computer.
• Add tests as requested to the appropriate specimen type.
• Identify and label specimens according to protocol and package safely for transport.
• Handle specimens upon arrival and process routine and STAT specimens per protocol.
• Process and aliquot specimens to meet service goals and store them properly.
• Answer telephone inquiries and maintain a clean, stocked work area.
