Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of lab experience; college coursework acceptable.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Degree in Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analyses on a wide range of raw materials, finished products, pilot and vendor samples.
• Train to operate and maintain analytical instrumentation and calibrate equipment.
• Participate in Out of Specification Investigations (OSIs).
• Assist with cGMP compliance and interdepartmental QC functions and process improvements.
• Assist with other duties in Quality Control, including complaint investigations and pilot product evaluations.
• Perform data collection and data review, and report results in spreadsheets and databases.
• Write reports, memos, SOPs, and laboratory procedures.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Assist in method optimization and implementation of new lab methods.
• Train peers on lab procedures after certification.
