Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking an entry-level production laborer for our Shasta Lake, CA sawmill. This full-time role offers on-the-job training and opportunities to move across multiple plant stations, including production, maintenance, and supervision.

You will shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts, stack lumber, and work in a fast-paced environment with potential overtime on busy production days.

Qualifications

• Recent, related work history and verifiable references are preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

• Learn to fill in on various machine stations at our manufacturing facility.
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts.
• Stack and pile lumber.
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding.
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments.
• Work may consist of varied shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times.
