Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician to support an accredited commercial laboratory, performing media and sample preparation, basic instrument setup, and routine maintenance to ensure accurate data and a strong CX.

You will follow SOPs, prepare standards, receive and log samples, document observations, and help maintain logs and equipment records, contributing to a safe and compliant lab environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with small vials, test tubes and delicate laboratory equipment.
• Ability to read and apply established protocols and SOPs to daily objectives.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.

Responsibilities

• Following SOPs, support laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate data reporting.
• Gather materials needed to prepare and analyze test samples.
• Sample receipt, login, storage and disposal steps.
• Prepare necessary standards and solutions for analyses.
• Set up and operate basic laboratory equipment.
• Maintain glassware and general cleanliness of the lab.
• Record observations and data accurately and maintain logs.
