Job summary

NeoGenomics Laboratories is seeking a Temporary Laboratory Technician I for the FISH department in Aliso Viejo, CA. Under supervision, you will assist with processing specimens for clinical testing and support the laboratory in adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines.

This entry-level role requires a life/physical science degree or an AA/AS with MLT license, and 1+ year of lab experience. You will work Tue-Sat, 4:00a-12:30p, with potential temp-to-hire.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in life or physical science required; or AA/AS with MLT license.
• 1+ years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, biohazard environment and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Receives, organizes and processes clinical specimens accurately.
• Prepares data, printouts and documents for licensed technologists.
• Operates automated equipment per SOP.
• Maintains reagent records and QA/QC logs.
• Attends department meetings and trainings to enhance knowledge.
