Job summary

Pace® Labs in Lexington, Virginia is seeking a Lab Technician I to support sample-related activities in our environmental testing laboratory. You will perform preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance of samples as part of a dynamic team.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to work in a lab setting and wear PPE, and a willingness to learn through training. Prior lab experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting and wear PPE.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
