Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a Client Services Technician to join the sample receiving department of our environmental testing laboratory. You’ll receive training and begin building a laboratory sciences career at Pace®, helping ensure timely and accurate handling of client shipments.

The role emphasizes customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a lab or office, standing for long periods while wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong preference towards candidates with previous customer service, shipping, or warehouse experience.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required. We’ll train you!
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods, work around strong odors, and wear required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace®).

Responsibilities

• Receiving shipments of samples
• Unpacking the sample coolers
• Verifying the samples against the customer’s paperwork
• Logging the sample into our system
