Job summary

CHS Corporate in Franklin, TN is seeking an entry-level Staff Auditor for IT Internal Audit. You will assist in IT audit engagements, risk assessments, and SOX/HIPAA/PI compliance activities under guidance from IA leadership.

You will perform foundational audit procedures, document evidence, and help communicate findings. This role offers exposure to information systems controls, data analytics with Excel/Power BI, and collaboration with external auditors to strengthen risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field required.
• Less than 2 years of IT compliance, IT external/internal audit, or technology risk management experience.

Responsibilities

• Audit Execution & Testing: Performs specific audit testing procedures, analyzes population data sets, and thoroughly documents audit evidence in workpapers.
• Risk Evaluation & Scoping: Develops an understanding of business and IT processes to identify technology risks.
• Documentation & Quality Assurance: Prepares narratives, system flowcharts, and walkthrough documentation.
• Reporting & Communication: Identifies control deficiencies and communicates them to audit leadership.
• Advisory & Project Support: Supports basic technology assessments and system implementation reviews.
• Stakeholder & External Collaboration: Provides testing support to external auditors.
• Team Leadership & Development: Seeks opportunities to increase knowledge in information systems controls.
• Strategic Planning & Innovation: Uses data analysis tools to improve testing speeds.
