Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company is seeking an IT Auditor to join its Internal Audit team in Kingsport, TN. The role will lead or support risk-based IT audits covering IT general controls, application controls, cybersecurity, and SOX compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of IT audit experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to explain complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive IT audit or related experience.
• Solid understanding of IT general controls, application controls, and SOX requirements.
• Familiarity with IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Execute audits per departmental guidelines to assess internal controls, compliance, and risk.
• Plan, scope, and perform audit tasks in lead or support roles.
• Document test steps and evidence in detailed work papers.
• Evaluate ITGCs, application controls, and interfaces across ERP, OS, databases, and networks.
• Assess cybersecurity controls and IT governance against COBIT/NIST/ISO frameworks.
• Identify audit issues and advise on remedial actions with management.
• Coordinate with SOX testing and support process-improvement initiatives.
• Communicate findings to senior management and develop actionable action plans.
• Assist in cross-functional initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.
