Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Iron Technician I at the SPM Oil & Gas division in Waynesburg, PA.

This entry-level role focuses on assembly and testing of mechanical components, with hands-on training and mentorship from senior technicians to build a foundation for a long-term career. You will gain practical skills in oil and gas operations, work a Monday–Friday schedule, and may qualify for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Three to six months’ related experience and/or training in oil and gas.
• Working knowledge of oil and gas equipment.
• Clean driving record with limited moving violations.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming iron from start to finish and prepare for delivery.
• Recertify equipment, and manage associated paperwork.
• Inspect and maintain flow control components and equipment.
• Maintain inventory and adhere to SOPs for flow control components.
