Solar Landscape in Asbury Park, NJ, is seeking an Associate Interconnection Engineer to support the interconnection process for solar and energy storage projects. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in utility interconnections, power systems, and project development from application through approval.

You will work with internal teams and external stakeholders, assisting with applications, liaising with utilities, and helping draft diagrams and site plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Internship experience in interconnection, utility coordination, or renewable energy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of interconnection applications.
• Support negotiations with utilities on interconnection requirements, costs, and timelines.
• Help manage and maintain utility customer portal systems.
• Assist in reviewing and drafting one‑line diagrams and site plans.
• Conduct research on utility infrastructure, tariffs, and interconnection policies.
