Job summary

North Central Insulation is hiring for a paid training track to learn insulation installation, with hands-on mentoring from experienced installers. Trainees start at $20.25 per hour during training, then move to a performance-based pay system after training, with earnings for experienced installers typically between $30 and $38+ per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, elevated work areas, and outdoor conditions.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (drug-free workplace).
• Previous construction or general labor experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing fiberglass, cellulose, and spray-applied insulation products.
• Air sealing homes and commercial buildings.
• Loading materials and traveling to job sites in company vehicles.
• Operating hand tools, power tools, and insulation equipment.
• Working in attics, crawl spaces, ladders, scaffolding, and lifts when necessary.
• Preparing job sites and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
• Following manufacturer specifications and company installation standards.
• Participating in safety meetings and following company safety procedures.
• Performing vehicle inspections and caring for company equipment.
• Communicating with supervisors and teammates to ensure every project is completed correctly.
