Job summary

Bluegrass Center for Autism in Louisville, KY is seeking an Entry Level Behavior Technician to support learners and families. You will work with Lead Instructors and BCBA staff to implement teaching programs, track progress, and maintain a positive, professional environment.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no nights or weekends. The role offers paid training, internship opportunities, and clear opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Training and Instruction: Work closely with Lead Instructors and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts to create training materials and teaching programs for learners.
• Effective Communication: Collaborate with Lead Instructors, Program Coordinators, Clinical Directors, and fellow team members to ensure smooth and effective operations.
• Commitment to Learners: Attend to the needs of the assigned binder daily and complete Communication Logs for learners under your care.
• Professionalism: Maintain a positive and professional working environment, embracing constructive feedback and demonstrating effective instructional skills.
• Data Management: Keep up with daily data graphing, record cold probe and behavior data, and ensure timely completion of necessary documentation.
• Family Engagement: Communicate with parents in a friendly and appropriate manner, keeping them informed about learners' progress.
• Team Player: Follow the general operations of your assigned team and accurately complete timesheets for billing purposes.

Physical Requirements

• Engaging with clients, including standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods.

Hours of Operation

BCA operates Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. RBTs may be assigned to early care one day a week from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on that day.
