Job summary

Bluegrass Center for Autism in Louisville, KY is seeking an Entry Level Behavior Technician to support learners and families. You will work with Lead Instructors and BCBA staff to implement teaching programs, track progress, and maintain a positive, professional environment.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no nights or weekends. The role offers paid training, internship opportunities, and clear opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must demonstrate reliability and accountability.
• Excel in client service and tactfully manage situations.
• Embrace feedback and strive for positive results.
• Motivated to make a meaningful impact on children and young adults.
• Complete the RBT certification process within the first 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Training and Instruction: Create training materials and teaching programs with Lead Instructors and BCBA.
• Effective Communication: Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations.
• Commitment to Learners: Attend to learners' needs and complete daily logs.
• Professionalism: Maintain a positive and professional environment.
• Data Management: Record data and complete documentation.
• Family Engagement: Communicate with parents about learners’ progress.
• Team Player: Complete timesheets for billing.
