Based in-office in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Sales Consultants at Hayes Locums play a critical role in connecting healthcare facilities with top physician and advanced practice provider (APP) talent. What You Will Do

Training & Development

All new consultants complete a 6-week, award-winning training program designed to build a strong foundation for long-term success.

During training, you will:

• Learn the locum tenens staffing model and healthcare market
• Develop sourcing and recruiting strategies for physician talent
• Practice consultative sales and negotiation skills
• Gain exposure to credentialing, compliance, and operations
• Build pipeline management and call structure skills
• Establish daily habits that drive consistent performance

You’ll be supported by Sales Enablement and leadership through:

Compensation & Career Growth

Hayes Locums rewards success through a combination of base salary, bonus, and uncapped commission. Our compensation model is designed to support early development while providing meaningful long‑term financial upside for sustained performance.

Compensation Includes

• $50,000 starting base salary
• $18,000 guaranteed bonus (first 18 months at $1,000 per month)
• Uncapped commission

Earning Potential

• Six-figure earnings possible within 2 years
• Experienced consultants: $300K-$800K+ OTE (4-5+ years)
• Top performers: seven-figure earnings
