Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee is seeking a Processor, Trainee to operate injection/blow molding machinery and perform periodic machine and product checks.

You will handle machinery safely, adjust machines, dislodge jams, inspect products for defects, monitor controls, and collaborate with Quality Control to meet standards. Overtime may be required; high school degree and plastic molding experience are beneficial. Location: 600 Vista Drive, Sparta, TN 38583.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of machine operating experience.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Plastic molding experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle and operate machinery, tools or equipment safely while performing duties.
• Make machine adjustments as needed with controls and hand tools.
• Dislodge jams in machinery as needed.
• Inspect products and boxing; detect defects with a good eye.
• Monitor machine controls to ensure proper process.
• Work with Quality Control to meet quality standards.
• Complete required paperwork for the department's quality system.
• Conduct periodic machine and product checks.
