Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Processor, Trainee to operate injection/blow molding machinery in Sparta, Tennessee. The role involves running molding equipment, performing periodic checks, and ensuring product quality.

You will work with Quality Control to uphold standards, complete required paperwork, and may be required to work overtime. A high school diploma and 1+ year of machine experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with plastic molding processes is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection/blow molding machinery safely.
• Make machine adjustments using controls and hand tools.
• Dislodge jams and conduct routine checks.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure quality.
• Monitor machine controls to maintain proper process.
• Coordinate with Quality Control to meet standards.
• Complete required quality system paperwork.
• Conduct periodic machine and product checks.
• Work overtime as needed due to business needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
