Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Processor, Trainee to operate injection/blow molding machinery for plastic bottle production at our Sparta, Tennessee facility. The role includes performing periodic machine and product checks and maintaining safe operation throughout a 12hr shift.

The position requires 1+ years of machine operating experience; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with plastic molding experience a plus. Overtime may be required to meet production demands.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection/blow molding machinery and perform periodic machine checks.
• Make machine adjustments using controls and tools as needed.
• Dislodge jams and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Inspect products for defects and box finished items.
• Monitor machine controls to maintain proper process.
• Coordinate with Quality Control to meet quality standards.
• Complete required paperwork for quality system.
• Perform periodic machine and product checks; overtime may be required.
