Job summary

SECO Ecoplastic America is seeking an entry-level Production Team Member to join the Injection Molding department in Register, GA. You will support the production area under supervision to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets, while adhering to SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires reading work orders, physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, standing on concrete all day, and a willingness to work weekends and nights in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is required.
• 1 year of continuous work experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Ability to take supervision and follow all policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors wearing safety boots during an 8-12 hour shift.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, with PPE.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and a SAFETY-FIRST culture.
• Flexibility to work weekends and nights.
• Must be proficient in speaking English

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following established safety policies and procedures.
• Support the Production Supervisor and Leads in daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Learn and adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and performance.
• Help manage workflow within the department to ensure on-time delivery of quality products to both internal and external customers.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the use and maintenance of production tools and equipment.
• Provide support in tracking departmental performance measures and visual controls.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance employee relations and overall production effectiveness.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, always exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor.
