Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prepare and set up injection molding machines for production runs in a plastics manufacturing environment. You will ensure equipment runs efficiently and adjust molds and process parameters to maintain quality.

This hands-on role requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The position is based in Bardstown, KY, with on-site requirements and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial machinery.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare injection molding machines for scheduled production runs, including setup, calibration, and basic pre-run checks.
• Ensure machines are running efficiently throughout the shift by monitoring performance, identifying issues, and making necessary adjustments.
• Change and modify molds as needed, including adjusting temperature and other process parameters to meet production and quality requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
