Austin Powder is seeking an Entry Level Operator to safely load and manage chemicals, maintain housekeeping, and ensure environmental and DOT compliance. You will assist with tank sampling, waste handling, and daily QA tasks while following SOPs, SDS, and P&IDs.

The role requires attention to PPE, alarms, and log sheets. Responsibilities include operating plant equipment, performing end-of-shift turnover, and supporting general labor tasks across the site.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21 years of age with either an Associates Degree, military service, or two years of manufacturing experience.

Aufgaben

• Move control settings to adjust speeds of equipment affecting reactions and yields.
• Monitor instruments and indicators to verify process conditions.
• Operate chemical processes using DCS, Local Controls, or semi-automatic equipment.
• Record operating data and report conditions to supervisors.
• Shut down equipment during emergencies as directed by supervision.
