Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking an Entry Level Operator to safely load anhydrous ammonia, ANSOL, and nitric acid trucks and railcars. The role emphasizes PPE discipline, housekeeping, and adherence to environmental and DOT requirements.

The operator will support tank sampling, paper work, and general plant tasks, while following SOPs, safety protocols, and lockout/tagout procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to safety protocols and PPE use.
• Experience with loading hazardous chemicals is a plus.
• Ability to follow SOPs, SDS, and labeling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure trucks and railcars safely.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of loading areas.
• Prepare and complete loading paperwork per DOT guidelines.
• Assist with tank sampling and plant housekeeping tasks.
• Operate and monitor equipment related to loading and unloading.
• Ensure proper placarding and adherence to environmental limits.
