Job summary

Siemens Fort Worth factory is seeking an Industrial Engineer for 1st shift (3:00pm-11:00pm). You will analyze operations, design workflows, and drive improvements in a modern manufacturing environment producing power distribution equipment.

Responsibilities include equipment lists, cost analyses, and process optimization to reduce waste and increase efficiency. Collaboration with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations.
• Understanding or exposure to manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Experience with ERP systems and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel, simulation tools).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed equipment lists for manufacturing and production.
• Conduct cost analyses for equipment, labor and materials.
• Prepare production cost estimates for quoting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance for cost alignment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity.
• Support layout planning, time studies and workflow analysis.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma and simulation modeling.
• Maintain documentation for cost models and equipment specs.
