Qualifikationen

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Zero to three years of experience in accounting, tax, finance, or related function.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and 365 apps.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Exposure to sales and use tax compliance preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics preferred.
• Experience with tax automation software such as Avalara, Vertex, ONESOURCE preferred.
• Prior internship or work experience in accounting, finance, tax, or compliance preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepares and assists with monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns.
• Compiles, validates, and reconciles tax data from ERP systems and supporting reports.
• Helps ensure timely filing and payment of tax obligations and maintains filing calendars.
• Maintains exemption and resale certificates and monitoring expirations.
• Supports tax notices, audits, and correspondence with authorities.
• Performs limited research on routine tax matters and escalates complex issues.
• Assists with tax process improvements and documentation.
• Coordinates responses to tax inquiries and supports system testing.
