Job summary

Spencer Fluid Power, a subsidiary of Applied Industrial Technologies, is hiring an entry level or above full-time Mechanic in Gillette, WY. You will disassemble, inspect, rebuild and test hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors and valves, and troubleshoot to specify parts and labor for repairs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years mechanical shop experience.
• 1+ year working knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, and cylinders.
• Basic math and computer skills; mechanical aptitude.
• Own set of hand tools preferred.
• Working knowledge of pumps, valves, hydraulic motors.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly, inspection, rebuilding and testing of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves.
• Troubleshoot and specify parts and labor for repairs; provide a failure analysis.
• Assemble/fabricate, plumbing, and testing of hydraulic components; perform on-customer equipment repairs.
