Job summary

Spencer Fluid Power in Gillette, WY is hiring an entry level or above full-time Mechanic. You will disassemble, inspect, rebuild and test hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors and valves, troubleshooting to determine parts and labor needs.

Follow manuals to repair, maintain and diagnose mechanical problems in capital equipment and facilities. Work may include assembly/fabrication, plumbing, and testing of hydraulic components and customer equipment, with on-site work and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical shop experience.
• 1+ year working knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, and cylinders a plus.
• Basic math and computer skills, mechanical aptitude.
• Your own set of hand tools preferred.
• Working knowledge of pumps, valves, hydraulic motors a plus.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Disassemble, inspect, rebuild and test hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors and valves; troubleshoot and specify parts and labor.
• Follow standard procedures and manuals to repair, maintain and diagnose mechanic problems in capital equipment and facilities.
