Job summary

Middle Tennessee State University is seeking an HVAC Mechanics Support to provide hands-on support to HVAC technicians, perform basic preventive maintenance, equipment servicing, and assist with work orders and emergency response on campus.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, entry-level experience or mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver's license. On-the-job training will be provided. Work is performed under supervision with emphasis on safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry-level experience or mechanical aptitude; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to HVAC technicians and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Assist with equipment servicing, filter changes, coil cleaning, and lubrication as needed.
• Support with work orders, diagnostics and emergency response; follow safety procedures.
