Qualifications

• One year college coursework in HR, accounting, finance, business or related field.
• Two years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word (or equivalent software) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine employment and payroll processes, recruitment support, appointment documentation, pre-payroll review, labor distribution and related administrative activities.
• Receive training in University of Alaska systems, procedures, and processes and progressively develop knowledge to perform full range of duties.
• Support CNSM HR Manager and Fiscal Manager; follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.
