Job Title: Hospital Service Technician

Pay Rate: $19.60/hr

Employment Type: Full-time

Training: We Will Train

Start Time: 5am

Position Purpose:

Provide on-site collection and exchange of waste containers at healthcare facilities, including services like Sharps Management, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management.

Schedule and Locations:
  • Monday: Children's Hospital LA
  • Tuesday: Children's Hospital LA
  • Wednesday: Off
  • Thursday: Children's Hospital LA
  • Friday: Children's Hospital LA
  • Saturday: Kaiser Downey
Key Job Activities:
  • Travel between healthcare facilities to perform waste collection and exchange services.
  • Interact professionally with onsite staff to meet service expectations.
  • Maintain a strict collection and service schedule.
  • Communicate duty status as scheduled.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 500 pounds.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' work experience or High School diploma/equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of software applications for tracking KPIs.
